Theater students have field trip on Feb. 24

The theater arts class of Rachel Carson MS will take a trip to the Synetic Theater in Arlington on Feb. 24 to see a play.

The students will view the play “The Servant of Two Masters.” Here is an excerpt from the theater’s website on the play: “Helmed by Vato Tsikurishvili and the Helen Hayes Award-nominated team from the 2019 hit Cyrano de Bergerac, this adaptation of Carlo Goldoni’s commedia dell’arte masterpiece will be a madcap farce of mistaken identity and unparalleled physical comedy. Don’t miss this raucous closing to our 20th anniversary season!”

The required number of chaperones has been reached and the groups have been formed.

A school bus will be taking them to Arlington shortly after fourth period (Panther Time) begins. They will arrive back to school around the end of sixth period and eat lunch in the courtyard. Students will then proceed to their eighth period. Theater teacher Mr. Josh Bickford has emailed all sixth period teachers of the students that they will not be attending.
