The Futsal session ended on May 31, and many students and teachers enjoyed playing and watching.
Coach Mark Bolt said the session went very well.
“Competitive but fun,” he said.
Eighth-grader Sladin Dilamo on the Wolves team agreed that the futsal session went pretty well.
“Full of talented students,” said Sladin.
Obaid Osmani also said he enjoyed the season.
What is Futsal
Futsal is basically soccer with a smaller field and it is mostly played indoors. Each team plays with each other four times and each round is about three to four minutes.
Futsal is played after school from August to May after the school buses leave, and it ends at 4:35 when the late buses arrive, every Tuesday and Thursday.
Why we offer Futsal
RCMS offers futsal because it’s a great experience and fun activity for the students to enjoy.
Every Tuesday and Thursday the average number of students is usually about 30-35 students.
Some memories from students include Obaid Osmani scoring his first goal, Numan Burhan taking a long shot, and lastly Sladin scoring his first ever hat-trick. A hat-trick is when you score three goals in a row in a single match.
