Disney is releasing new movies from 2024 through 2026, from movies like “Moana 2” to “Avatar” and many more!
“I am so excited about Wicked,” said Mrs. Leah Leuschner, math teacher in B-pod.
John Musker and Ron Clements, directors of the original movie, “Moana,” are back with Moana 2, which came out Nov. 27. Many fans are excited to see the return of the characters and the land of Polynesia.
Ella Lewin, age 12, on the Trailblazers team, is excited about the arrival of “Moana 2.”
“I’ve been waiting – like – four years for it!” said Ella.
Nostalgia and family is a big draw for many people who are excited for these new movies.
“The only reason is because I wanna spend time with my family,” she said. “They’re always busy.”
She is in for the family time spent watching it.
Another movie coming out soon is “Avatar 3” coming out Dec. 19 next year. Mrs. Leuschner said she doesn’t think the movie is worth her money. It’s an action and sci-fi movie.
“I am not going to pay for movie tickets,” Mrs. Leuschner said.
Subarna is curious to see how the storyline will evolve in this sequel, as the first one made a huge impact worldwide.
“I really liked the show and am excited for the movie,” said Subarna Dhevraj, 12, Trailblazers team.
Another movie being released is “Mufasa: The Lion King.” This sequel to the original “Lion King” movie is expected to be coming out Dec. 20.
“I really want to see the conflict,” said Holly Hovanec, age 12, on the Dream team.
“Wicked” came out on Nov. 22. It’s based on the Broadway show, and is set to engage families.
“The songs were amazing,” said Hana Kalapasev, age 12, on the Champions team.
