Mrs. Christina Oh left her position as an assistant principal at Rachel Carson Middle School on Friday, Oct. 4, to move to a higher level of administering at Herndon High School.

Before teaching at Carson, Mrs. Oh taught Spanish for middle and high school students. Following her job as a teacher, she went to Instructional Services where she was a World Language Educational Specialist. 

Mrs. Oh said her favorite part about being an administrator was getting to work with teachers and students closely every day, and having a face to face interaction.

She described the teachers as “great and strong with high expectations,” which she hopes she can find at Herndon High School as well.

One thing she hopes that the students remember is “just be you, and be proud of who you are, because you are a lot more amazing than you think you are.”
