Students can see ISS interview at astronautical conference Oct. 25

The International Astronautical Congress will meet in Washington, D.C., on Friday, Oct. 25, and students who attend will see a live International Space Station interview and hear famous aerospace influencers speak.

For the first time in 17 years, the IAC (International Astronautical Congress) will be meeting in the U.S., and even better, in D.C. The IAC is a respected convention featuring astronaut speakers and a live ISS downlink interview. The IAC is sponsored by significant aerospace organizations including Airbus, United Launch Alliance, Arianespace, AIA, JPL, the European Space Agency and Aerojet Rocketdyne, the company that manufactured the motors for the Saturn V.

It may be possible to get an excused absence this day, but be sure to check with your counselor.
