New club helps endangered species

A new club at Rachel Carson aims to help endangered species thrive.

The Rachel Carson Conservation Society (or RCCS) is an after school activity that writes articles and brochures on ways to help endangered animals. They are going to start raising funds to help the endangered animals. Right now their main focus is on the Koalas.

The RCCS meets on Thursday after school during A block, in Mrs. Allen’s room (A107).

Annanya Bitra, President of RCCS, said that students should join the RCCS, “so they can help make a difference around the world.”

“Students can learn about the different endangered species and how the things we do can really help living animals,” says Annanya.
