New cafeteria regulations announced
To maintain safety, Rachel Carson students will need to adapt to new changes in the cafeteria for the rest of the 2020-2021 school year.
As soon as students enter the cafeteria, they will be assigned to a desk arranged in rows. From there, students will be dismissed, by row, to go to the serving area.
Students must stay 6 feet away from peers at all times.
Only two people will be allowed in the serving area at a time. When there are two people in the serving area, students are to wait in a socially distanced line outside.
It is recommended by Principal Stokes that students bring extra snacks, as vending machines will not be available for the rest of the 2021 school year.
As students leave for dismissal, it is recommended that they sanitize their hands. Students will wait until dismissal to throw away their trash.
