College Partnership Program applications due by March 19

Eighth grade FCPS students may submit applications for the College Partnership Program (CPP) as of March 1. The application window closes on March 19.

The College Partnership Program is an initiative to benefit “traditionally underrepresented students,” according to the Fairfax County Public Schools official website.

Ms. Laura Ricciardi, an RCMS counselor, hosted an info session on March 1 regarding the CPP, in which she explained the program and how to apply.

During the session, Ms. Ricciardi stated that the program offers academic counseling, college visits, assistance with scholarship applications, and other useful services concerning college.

Additionally, the CPP application will include student and parent information, a writing sample from the applicant, and the applicant’s middle school transcript.

For more information on the College Partnership Program and how to apply, RCMS advises students to contact Ms. Ricciardi at [email protected] or their counselor.
