Everyone Should Get Vaccinated — Immediately
Dear Editor,
I am writing to you in regards to the COVID-19 vaccine, both doses need to be taken by those eligible. Now that the vaccines are out, many are scared and concerned to get the vaccine, but what many don’t realize is that the vaccine needs to be taken to get away from the pandemic.
While there may be some side effects to the COVID-19 vaccine, such as a fever and muscle pains, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. A muscle ache for a few days is better than risking the chance of getting Covid and possibly damaging their body permanently.
While it is possible to still get Covid with both two doses of the vaccine, the chances of getting hospitalized are low, and there are no chances of dying from Covid.
With all the Covid cases around the world, there’s no saying who is safe, and who isn’t. Every once in a while, there are new variants of Covid that are forming, so it is important to dodge the new forming variants, and get vaccinated.
It is our duty as humans, to help stop this pandemic, and get it over with once and for all. Covid will keep growing, and growing until we all build herd immunity by getting vaccinated.
Sincerely,
Anika Atluri
