Amber Li, an eighth-grade viola player, recently won the Music T-Shirt Design contest. On Sept. 14-15, the students in the music department at Carson voted for their favorite design in music classes, and on Sept. 16-17, the winner was announced.

All of the music departments participated in this contest; chorus, band, and orchestra, so there were several designs to consider voting for. The design was supposed to symbolize the RCMS music department and portray information about it.

More than 20 people entered the contest, and Amber’s intricate design won the prize.
