Artificial Intelligence x Humans: Jobs are lost, humans are more reliant

Dear Editor,

Fabrication of robots and Artificial Intelligence may sound interesting, but there could be many cons to this idea.

Recently Elon Musk, a famous innovator and investor, invented a humanoid robot called the Tesla Bot or the Optimus.

This could potentially cause a big crisis to humans, AI could take away our ability to be in charge of our own lives

Robots could displace millions of people, and leave many jobless.

These human replicas could also become part of our daily lives, making us more lazy and unhealthy.

According to the National Bureau of Economic Research, researchers estimate that one more robot per thousand workers would reduce employment rate drastically.

The employment-to-population ratio could reduce, in units, by 0.18 and 0.34 percentage points.

In addition to this problem, now and even in the future, people will be more reliant on Artificial Intelligence instead of using their own brain.

As stated by the concern is that our brains will start to waste away, at school we are told to memorize information, but now we have it all right in our pocket.

The solution to this problem is to simply use the brain and grow it everyday, instead of using robots to make you food and do things that humans could do themselves, grow your skills and know that Artificial Intelligence is limited and human intelligence can grow.
