RCMS basketball teams to face rivals
The Rachel Carson Middle School basketball team is having two showdowns in March against rival FCPS schools, Langston Hughes and Stone.
The basketball game against Langston Hughes will be at South Lakes High School on March 10, and the Stone game will be at Westfield High School on March 17.
Both games will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The tickets will cost $5 and will be sold at the door.
Four teams will be playing each night: the Junior Varsity Boys and Girls teams, and the Varsity Boys and Girls teams.
Cannon Berejik is an eighth-grader on the Wolves team. He enjoys playing soccer and hanging out with friends.
Vikram Hoskote is a seventh-grader on the Legacy team. He loves to play basketball and many other sports, and loves to go out with friends.
