Still wanting to enjoy Halloween after October 31st? At Cox Farms lies a scary night-time adventure waiting for your arrival. Haunted hayrides, scary walks in the forest, bonfires and more are spooked with elements that will make you scream. You may want to come with a group! It is not recommended for children under 12 years old. All under age 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18+). The hours of operation are 7:30-11 pm (last entry is at 10 pm, maybe earlier if tickets are sold out!) The last day for this spooktacular event is November 5th!

ZooLights at the National Zoo

Friday, November 25th, 2016 through January 1st (except December 24th and 25th): Join the thousands of visitors who make ZooLights a part of their annual holiday tradition. A free event, ZooLights includes live music performances and tasty winter treats. More than 500,000 LED eco-friendly lights light up the already fascinating Zoo. A fun event is The Smithsonian’s National Zoo Choo-Choo: this allows you to take a fun tour through the Zoo on a trackless train and takes guests from the Great Cats exhibit and highlights the Zoo’s holiday light displays.

The Jingle Ball

The DC Jingle Ball 2016 current lineup includes Meghan Trainor, The Chainsmokers, G-Eazy, Fifth Harmony, Diplo, Ellie Goulding, DNCE, Aleissa Cara, Tove Lo, Daya, and with a special appearance by Niall Horan. Maybe just hearing some of those artist’s name gives you shivers, hopefully in a good way. Join these talented disc jockeys, rappers, and singers at the Verizon Center Washington , DC at 7:30 PM on December 12, 2016. You must be a Capital One cardholder to get tickets. Tickets are currently sold out, the only way to get tickets is to listen to Hot 99.5.
