Brrrrrrrrrrrrring!  When you hear the bell, only one thought runs through your head: It’s time to go home! But did you ever consider joining an after-school club? At RCMS, a variety of clubs for people of all interests are offered. From the Flag Football Club to the Musical, you’re sure to find something that sparks your interest. It’s important to remember that not all middle schools offer as many clubs and opportunities as RCMS does. Some middle schools may not even offer clubs at all. So take advantage of all these awesome clubs, because there’s only one reason they’re there: for you!

RCMS offers many athletic clubs: flag football, soccer, running, basketball, and kickball. Anyone with any interest is welcome to stop by on Mondays for boys basketball and soccer, on Wednesdays for girls basketball and flag football, and on Thursdays for kickball and running. Sign up in the cafeteria to have fun playing your favorite sports!

This year, the RCMS spring musical is “Once on This Island Jr.” There is an interest meeting on December first, and auditions will take place on December 12th, 14th, and 15th. “Once on This Island Jr.” is about a girl named Ti Moune who goes on a journey to reunite with the man she loves. When she finally reunites with him, she faces many setbacks. Will she survive the challenges and marry the man she loves? Watch “Once on This Island Jr.” to find out!

RCMS has a variety of clubs for everyone, and if you’re not interested in any of the clubs listed above, there’s also the Going Green club, the Craft Club, and many others. So stay after school and hang out with your friends at one of  your favorite clubs!
