What you’ll need:

  •   1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin
  •  1 (14 ounce) can Eagle brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 large eggs
  •  1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
  •  1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 (9 inch) of unbaked pie crust

15 min prep, 55 min cook            

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Whisk the pumpkin, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, spices and salt into an medium bowl until it’s smooth. Pour into crust. Bake 15 minutes.
  1. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F and continue baking for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted 1 inch from crust comes out clean. Garnish as desired. Store the leftovers in the refrigerator so you can eat it at any point.

Thanksgiving Cookies

These Thanksgiving cookies are a simple and easy way to decorate your Thanksgiving tables over the holidays. They add color to your deserts and are an easy dish to bring to parties. And can be made in around 15 min or less and are a delicious dessert to eat.

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  • 6 chocolate sandwiches cookies
  • 6 mini peanut butter cups                                            
  • 6 malt balls                                                                        
  • 1 cup Red Frosting, recipe follows                                    
  • 6 chocolate sandwich cookies with top cookies removed  
  • 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk                                          
  •  Red food coloring, as needed

CRANBERRY RELISH

  •  2 cups of rinsed raw cranberries
  • 2 skinned and cored tart green apples, cut into thick slices
  • 1 large, whole (peeled) seedless orange, cut into sections
  • 1 to 2 cups granulated sugar (depending on how sweet you would like your relish to be)

 

Directions:                                                                                                                                                

  1. If you are using an old fashioned grinder, use the medium-sized grinder plate and set the grinder on the edge of the table with a large bowl or pan.
  • If you don’t have an old fashioned grinder, you can use the grinder attachment to a Kitchen aid mixer, or you can use a food processor.
  • You can also just chop finely by hand, but it’s difficult, especially with the cranberries.
  • Push the cranberries, orange sections, and apple slices through the grinder. Include the orange peel! Alternate the fruit as you push it through the grinder.
  1. Stir in the sugar. (Start with less than a cup and keep adding 1/4 cups until you reach your desired level of sweetness.) Let it sit at room temperature until the sugar dissolves and it takes about 45 minutes to dissolve. Store it in the refrigerator until it is ready for thanksgiving!
